Why I Chose to Own a Mobile Welding Business

My name is Collin and I’m the owner of Remote Welding Services. 12 years ago at the age of 18 I attended Oxarc Structural Welding Institue. From there I traveled to 5 different states following my passion for welding. It’s the challenge, the precision, and the satisfaction of turning metal into something strong and functional. Mobile welding takes that passion a step further because no two days are ever the same. Every job presents a new problem to solve and a different piece of equipment to repair in real-world situations. I love that variety. It keeps work exciting and challenging.

One of the best parts of running a mobile welding business is the flexibility it gives me. In the chance I have downtime, I get to spend it with my family. I have three amazing kids, and I get the opportunity to show them what it’s like to own a business, work hard, and take pride in your work. Teaching them about responsibility, dedication, and problem-solving through what I do is incredibly rewarding.

Working in Chelan and Douglas Counties allows me to help the public, contractors, and farmers solve real problems on-site. I take pride in my work whether it’s repairing a trailer, building a custom hand-railing, or fixing a snow plow in the middle of winter. Remote Welding Services isn’t just a job. It’s a way to combine my skills with meaningful service for the people in the community I grew up in.

Starting this business has given me not only professional fulfillment but also the freedom to balance work and family life. Every day is different and every repair is a chance to leave a positive impact. Remote Welding Services is about grit, flexibility, quality work, and stepping up for the community when it matters the most.
